Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer customized AV systems for theaters, screening rooms, corporate facilities, museums, stadiums, and specialty venues.
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and recommend AV solutions.
  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of designed systems.
  • Specify and source equipment, including digital cinema projectors, multi-channel audio systems, Crestron/AMX control systems, and live-streaming solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize AV system performance for optimal sound and image clarity.
  • Stay updated on emerging AV technologies and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, AV Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in AV system design, integration, or engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for AV system schematics and design.
  • Strong understanding of digital cinema, film projection, high-definition video, and pro-AV system architecture.
  • Experience with control systems (Crestron, AMX), digital audio processing, and networking.
  • AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
