Portable searchlights offer an easy way to draw a crowd to your car dealership, restaurant, theatre, festival, or special event. Boston Light & Sound now offers the Lighthouse 4000 searchlight for sale or rent. These compact, commercial-grade devices emit high-intensity moving light beams that are visible up to four miles away. You can also use the searchlight in stationary mode to illuminate a structure brilliantly.

Set-up

The Lighthouse 4000 is easy to set up. Available for pickup at our Boston facility, it fits nicely into most standard-size cars or trucks. The searchlight runs at 2,000-watts on standard 20 amp, 120v power so there's no need to rent a generator or hire an electrician. Or you can produce 4,000 watts of lamp power plugging it into a standard 30 amp or larger 240v outlet such as a dryer or range outlet.

Q. How do I rent?

Q. What equipment comes with my rental?

Q. What equipment will I need to operate the searchlight?
A. Access to 120v or 240v power or an equivalent generator.

Q. Does the searchlight move?
A. Yes, it can be adjusted to project a rotating or fixed beam. (See photos.)

Q. Will I have to set it up myself?
A. It's totally up to you. We believe this searchlight is the simplest available but if for any reason you'd prefer us to deliver and install it, and/or remove it, we are happy to do that for you.
